Clinical Supervisor for Therapists in Texas
Finding the right supervisor matters.
If you're a therapist looking for supervision, I know how important it is to find the right fit. It's more than just checking boxes – it’s about finding someone who understands the journey and can guide you with empathy, experience, and a commitment to your growth.

Hi, my name is Dr. Kristin Ross, and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor (LMFT-S) and an AAMFT-Approved Supervisor.
And the road you are on right now? I've been there myself.
Building a career as a therapist is rewarding, but it comes with challenges—self-doubt, ethical dilemmas, and the constant process of figuring out who you really are as a clinician. Having the right supervision is what makes the difference in becoming the therapist you want to be.
My Approach to Supervision
I believe that supervision isn’t one-size-fits-all. Everyone’s journey is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs. My work is rooted in:
Experiential & Self-of-the-Therapist Exploration. Who you are shapes how you show up in the therapy room. We’ll explore your strengths, triggers, and personal growth areas to help you become a more confident, self-aware therapist.
A Developmental, Supportive Approach. Whether you’re just starting out or nearing licensure, I meet you where you are and help you move forward at your own pace.
Culturally Responsive & Social Justice-Oriented Supervision. We can explore how systemic factors impact therapy and your work as a clinician, especially if you come from a marginalized background.
Supervision for Therapists of Color
Looking for a Supervisor Who Looks Like You? Being a therapist of color in this field comes with unique challenges. I know because I’ve lived it.
Finding a supervisor who understands the nuances of your identity—without needing you to explain every layer—can make all the difference.
Supervision should be a space where you don’t have to alter or shrink yourself. Whether you’re processing how racial identity impacts your clinical work, navigating bias in professional spaces, or figuring out how to show up as your full, authentic self as a therapist, I’m here to support you.
